Medetaku Kou

A young woman named Hikari, who becomes known as Ukifune, works as the youngest maid in Ooku and gradually applies the knowledge she gained during her childhood. Her efforts lead her to become a notable figure within the household. This story is based on the life of Keishoin, a concubine of the third shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu and the birth mother of the fifth shogun Tsunayoshi Tokugawa, who rose to prominence in Ooku from a common background.
