In 1880 Japan, Daigo is a seventeen-year-old swordsman who has never lost a duel. A mysterious stranger arrives in his village, bringing a revelation about his family's past that is both unbelievable and undeniably true. This revelation involves Count Dracula, who is unable to change his nature or his need to consume souls. The count's presence threatens the entire country, with Daigo's loved ones, particularly Chizuru, at great risk. Daigo is the only one who can protect his community from the vampire's deadly influence. However, he must face an enemy unlike any he has encountered before—capable of great speed, strength, and temptation.
