Arisawa Kei encounters Hakamada Ryuuhei, a person who claims to see and manipulate fate through threads. He informs her that she possesses "death-bringer" threads, a detail that unsettles her. Kei, however, remains skeptical of such beliefs, as she does not accept the concept of En or luck.
