A high school student chef named Watanabe Futatsuki works at the school’s student-run restaurant, where he makes ramen using simple ingredients. He values the joy of cooking and the satisfaction of seeing others enjoy his food. When new administrators take control of the school, they plan to transform it into a top-tier institution, which includes closing the student restaurant. In its place, Azumi Hinano, a confident and dismissive individual, will open an upscale dining establishment. She quickly gains student support with her high-end cuisine and looks down on ramen as inferior. Futatsuki opposes her approach and the way she treats students. He must decide whether he has the ability and backing to fight for the restaurant’s survival.
