Merin the Mermaid·메린; 인어이야기
A mermaid initially seeks to consume the heart of Prince Lewen but chooses to save him instead, opting for her own death. After being cursed by another mermaid, she arrives at Lewen's palace in human form, unable to speak or reveal her identity. Lewen takes her in and gives her the name Merin, unaware of who she truly is. At the same time, Lewen's older brother, Lewinel, returns with Princess Irena of Ladivita, intending to marry her to help restore the fortunes of their struggling kingdom, Erenbur. Lewinel, though kind and courteous, remains unaware of Lewen's harmful schemes that threaten to ruin their shared future.
