Mermaid Line

This manga consists of several short, self-contained stories originally published in Yuri Hime magazine. Each story is presented in an episodic format, resembling a soap opera. In one, a girl named Megumi tells her friend Aoi that she feels like a mermaid, despite being a poor swimmer. Aoi imagines herself as a prince to Megumi's mermaid, but Megumi becomes involved with another boy. Another story follows Ayumi, who is surprised when her boyfriend reveals he wants to transition. Two office workers, Mayuko and Yukari, enter into a pretend relationship, but Yukari soon develops real feelings for Mayuko. In the final story, Okabe is drawn to Miura for her long hair, but must adjust when Miura cuts it all off.
