In a near-future setting where most vehicles use sustainable energy, racing with combustion engines has become uncommon. The MFG is one of the last significant competitions for these traditional engines. Kanata Rivington, who is half-Japanese, returns to Japan to participate in the event. He also seeks to find his father. Whether Kanata can achieve his goals remains uncertain.
