Two bounty hunters, Shitou Teruaki and Ayatsuji Kaoru, are central to the story. Teruaki is assigned a case to pursue a serial rapist and encounters Kaoru, his rival, after rescuing him from becoming a victim. Kaoru is also a skilled bounty hunter and the most popular student at the school Teruaki has recently joined. Their paths cross unexpectedly under these circumstances.
