A count's daughter, Iris, is sent to the royal palace by her sister to serve as a substitute fiancée for a tyrannical king. The king is believed to carry the blood of a silver wolf and is said to be a beast, potentially dooming the kingdom. Iris struggles to cope but finds herself spending the night with him. Despite her fears, the feared ruler behaves gently, cuddling with her like a docile animal. He comments on how pleasant it is when she pets him.
