Class representative Takeyama visits a classmate's home to collect lunch fees and becomes involved with Yasumi, the sole remaining member of the financially troubled Matsudaira family. Yasumi lives with her devoted maid Miharu, and together they face the challenge of overcoming their debt despite the financial misfortune that seems to constantly affect their lives.
