Minwa Series

A collection of five illustrated manga stories for children, each inspired by traditional Japanese folklore. In one, a boy believed to have come from the stars confrontes an oni tied to his origins. Another follows a boy seeking a dragon's whisker to cure his mother's illness. A tengu struggles with a yamauba's offer to care for his human children. A boy seeks revenge against a whale that killed his parents. Lastly, a skeptical boy encounters a kitsune that leads him to strange new worlds.
