After her mother becomes ill and is admitted to the hospital, Som, an estranged daughter, finds an enigmatic box in her mother's closet. When she unintentionally opens it, she encounters a peculiar woman who identifies herself as a grim reaper. The woman's identity and her relationship to Som's mother remain unclear.
