Isamu, part of a group called the "Sword Saint," was thrown 200 years ahead in time while trying to shield his allies from magical energy unleashed in the final clash with a Demon Lord. Stranded and without direction, he is rescued by Cecilia, a descendant of the original hero. Guided by a prophecy from her ancestors, she takes him in and vows to care for him. In exchange, Isamu commits to protecting Cecilia, honoring the duty he feels toward his former companions.
