Mirumo de Pon!

A middle school girl named Kaede is shy around boys despite her otherwise lively personality. After purchasing a decorated mug from a strange shop, she reads a message inside that promises a magical creature will appear if hot cocoa is poured into it while speaking a wish aloud. Though doubtful, she tries it, wishing to go out with a popular boy in her class. A small blue creature named Mirumo emerges, but instead of helping her, he causes trouble and eats chocolate. Mirumo is a fugitive from his own world, having fled to avoid an arranged marriage. Pursuing him are Rirumu, Yashichi, and many other muglox of various kinds. Their presence disrupts Kaede's school life.
