Tomoya Ishida is a new editor at the fashion magazine Sophia Monthly. When a senior colleague is hospitalized, Tomoya is urgently tasked with retrieving a column from the renowned culinary researcher Ayumu Mitsuya. Upon visiting Mitsuya, he discovers a friendly older man who speaks with a Kyoto accent. While waiting, Tomoya is given a simple meal that pleases him, and he looks forward to meeting Mitsuya again.
