A new employee at a bookstore, Mako, deals with the stress of working under Takeo, a strict and often irritable supervisor. Other stories include a girl who receives an unwanted confession from a boy who has frequently teased her, leaving her feeling humiliated and vengeful. In another, a love confession takes place in a family restaurant. A separate tale follows children who gain magical abilities when wearing school uniforms, confronting a witch with a grudge against their classmates.
