Mizukagekusa

Ayame is the daughter of Hattori Hanzo from the Iga ninja clan and is known for her remarkable ninja abilities despite being a woman. As the conflict in Japan led by Oda Nobunaga nears its end, Hanzo hopes for a peaceful life for her. An opportunity arises for Ayame to become the mistress of Nobuyasu, the heir of Tokugawa, and a mutual affection develops between them. However, this future does not come to pass. After Hanzo's sudden death, Ayame takes over his name and commits to living as a man.
