Mizutama Rindou

A new standout player on Kamakurahama High's water polo team is Torii Ushio, whose quiet demeanor in class contrasts with her athletic prowess in the pool. Nakaoka Riku, initially perceiving her as reserved, is impressed by her swimming skills and leadership potential. One evening after practice, Riku discovers that Ushio is concealing certain truths. Her family manages a temple, and she serves as priestess to the dragon god. Sango, the teenage descendant of the original dragon god, resides in a hidden underwater cave and considers Ushio her only friend, who acts as her guardian. Following several incidents, Sango joins the water polo team to stay near Ushio. Her extraordinary swimming abilities astonish the team.
