The manga takes place in the same timeline as *Mobile Suit Gundam 00 The Movie: A wakening of the Trailblazer*. It introduces Fereshte, a reactivated branch of the former organization Celestial Being, as they face off against the ELS, an alien species previously encountered in the series.
