Unknown creatures known as Moimon have appeared, displaying an appealing appearance alongside a violent nature and durable bodies. Initially, it seemed humans had formed a trainer-pet dynamic with them. However, a growing aggression among wild Moimon threatens human survival. Kakeru comes from a tribe that hunts Moimon to survive, while Shimizu longs for adventure. The two embark on a journey to find answers to halt the creatures' violent evolution. This action series follows their efforts in a world where these strange beings and their hunters clash.
