A woman who is a successful shoujo novelist faces an unexpected inheritance issue after her parents, who managed her finances, die one after another. The story, set during the peak of the bubble economy, is based on real-life experiences and aims to be as close to non-fiction as possible. It is adapted from a semi-autobiographical novel by Aiko Hanai.
