Masaya once had a close friendship with Momoko until he saw her pad, which unsettled him. After that, he avoided interactions with women and attended all-boys schools. Despite his efforts, he still encounters girls who appear more sexually experienced than he is. His attempts at a relationship, such as with Lisa, feel insignificant compared to his friends' experiences. He struggles with his own sexuality and the realization that Momoko has grown into a sexually aware young woman.
