Mononogatari

Hyoma possesses supernatural abilities to combat tsukumogami, spirits that inhabit old objects and are responsible for taking something valuable from him. His goal is to send them back to their world, regardless of the cost. However, his grandfather arranges for him to live with Botan, a girl who coexists peacefully with a group of tsukumogami that are protective of her. Hyoma struggles with this arrangement, as it conflicts with his mission. The story explores whether Botan can help him manage his anger or if his desire for revenge will push him toward destructive behavior.
