Mononote

During the Edo Period, a figure known as "Mononote" was said to roam the Nakasendou Route, appearing monstrous when armed with a sword. Okota, a traveling girl, encounters Hitatsura, a boy who uses his hands in an unusual, reversed manner. The story also offers a look into the routine tasks of ninja during a time of peace, revealing the challenging yet ordinary lives they lead in Edo.
