Yamato has spent his life preparing to become a monster hunter, inspired by Kuja, who he admires. With Mui, his childhood friend, and Prof, a former associate of Kuja, he leaves his village to take on hunting missions. As they begin their journey, Yamato learns that the reality of being a hunter is far more challenging than he anticipated.
