Yuusuke Kudou is constantly bothered by his childhood friend, Misao Miyauchi, who is overly affectionate and follows him everywhere. Now in high school, Misao has developed a more mature appearance, leading classmates to believe Yuusuke is in a relationship, which hinders his social life. When Yuusuke learns that Misao is engaged and will marry in the spring, he feels a new emotion—jealousy. Determined to change his situation, he resolves to become more popular and find a girlfriend before Misao's wedding.
