Mother Teresa

A woman who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 dedicated her life to aiding impoverished individuals. Inspired by a spiritual calling, she established a shelter in Calcutta, India, where she and other nuns provided care for those who were suffering and nearing the end of their lives. Following her death, others have continued her mission of addressing fundamental human needs.
