During summer vacation, Genji Kudou, a former explorer, is visited by his granddaughter, Mana, who persuades him to stream a dungeon run. Though confused by the idea, he agrees. After three decades away from dungeon exploration, he returns with methods that contrast sharply with current practices. While exploring, he encounters and criticizes an arrogant streamer. As events unfold, his unique approach gains widespread attention. Genji continues his dungeon expeditions, driving his small truck to each new location.
