Ryuto Maclaine is reincarnated into a fantasy world with the simplest class: villager. He has no special lineage or divine gifts, just a humble background in an unknown village. His friends include a powerful hero named Cordelia and a brilliant sage named Moses. At fifteen, Ryuto is betrayed and killed by Moses.
