Mushi-Uta

In a near-future setting, mysterious insect-like beings called Mushi emerge, offering supernatural abilities in exchange for consuming people's dreams and thoughts. Daisuke Kusuriya, known as Kakkou, meets a girl named Shiika Anmoto, and they grow close. Unaware of her true background, Kakkou does not know Shiika has escaped from GARDEN, a hidden facility imprisoning individuals affected by the Mushi, known as Mushitsuki. A top operative from the Special Environmental Conservation Executive Office is sent to capture Shiika, but encounters opposition from the Mushibane resistance group, which is led by the enigmatic figure known as Ladybird.
