Tooru is starting her first year of high school and moves in with her grandfather to be near campus. Unbeknownst to her, the grandfather is a robot engineer with an unusual aspiration, which led him to build the robot assistant named Spin. Living together, Tooru's life begins to change as a result of her grandfather's invention.
