Michio Yuki is a successful banker and member of a renowned Kabuki family, admired for his appearance and intellect. As a child, he survived a poison gas leak on an island near Okinawa, an event that killed everyone else and was concealed by authorities. The exposure left him without a moral compass. Now, he ascends the social ladder while committing violent crimes at night, using his impersonation skills to disguise himself as his victims. Yuki seeks to obtain MW, the weapon responsible for his survival and moral decay. Two men attempt to stop him: a prosecutor working to build a case and a Catholic priest named Iwao Garai, who has a shared past and intimate relationship with Yuki.
