After the demons who killed his parents were slain, the boy Yise put one of their heads on display, and his own village cast him out as a monster. With nothing left to hold onto, he met Mongryeon, a dokkaebi who hunted demons, and took up a single purpose: wiping the creatures from existence. Traveling together, Mongryeon came to sense something rare in the boy and delivered him to the Grand Martial Path, a cultivation sect that serves as the immortal realm's executioners. From there begins the story of a boy who takes up cultivation in the name of exterminating every demon alive.
