Myther

During the second year of Enka, a scientist developed Myther, a device intended to help individuals achieve their ideal personalities by shedding their perceived weaknesses. Its use, however, has led to a growing problem known as Myther Crime, in which users experience psychological breakdowns and commit violent acts. Kyou works as an agent for the Special Intelligence Agency, operating under the Japanese government's direct orders. He covertly investigates and combats these crimes, driven by his strong commitment to the government.
