A regular part-time worker named Yana Jeong encounters a panting stranger while on the job. Later, she discovers he is Kai Shim, the son of a jewelry company's CEO and also a merman. Yana crosses paths with Kai again when she ends up serving at his birthday event. A string of mishaps causes them to meet once more. The story explores how Yana deals with these sudden and surprising occurrences.
