A girl named Kaga Nanao hears a violin melody during a trip to Tokyo and becomes fascinated. To find the musician, she begins learning the violin and enrolls at the Marianne Music Academy, going against her father's wishes. At the school, she discovers the violinist is Sagami Takenomaru, a musical prodigy and the adopted son of a renowned violin teacher. Takenomaru has a specific mission and is bound by a contract that drives his actions.
