In a distant future where advanced machines have taken over a planet, humanity faces extinction. A religious group has chosen a prophesied hero to bring hope for survival. Lerin Cliffis, a skilled and well-known explorer who has always aspired to be a hero, is left without direction after being overlooked for the role. He encounters Ul, a mechanical girl considered an adversary, who reveals a startling fact: humans are doomed to vanish, and only Lerin can prevent it. Lerin begins collaborating with Ul, though they face immense challenges ahead.
