A messenger from the country of Edinburgh, a neighbor to Lioness, revealed the presence of vampires twelve years ago. The people of Edinburgh were either killed or turned into vampires, leading to the loss of their capital. In response, the captain of the holy knights, along with Zaratras, Dreyfus, Hendricksen, and Meliodas, convened with leaders to establish a team of riders known as the "Seven Deadly Sins." Their mission is to reclaim Edinburgh.
