A father and daughter reside in Okinawa, where their quiet life is disrupted by the daughter's unpredictable actions. Haruko, a young girl, and her father, Raikichi, a member of the Japan Self-Defense Forces, struggle with the challenges of her adolescence. As Raikichi tries to navigate her changing behavior, he faces increasing difficulty in understanding her. The situation becomes even more complicated when Haruko's development takes an unforeseen direction.
