A war between five races—humans, the Demonic, Wild God, Spirit, and Phantom Beast Races—ended with human victory, thanks to Prophet Sid sealing the others in the black pyramid known as the Crypts. Kai is tasked with monitoring the Crypts and preparing to protect humans should the seal break. One day, after experiencing a strange distortion, the "World Rebirth" is triggered, transporting Kai to a new world where no one recognizes him, while he retains all his memories.
