Ne no Kuni-ke

Inukai Masayoshi, after being shoved by a coworker and nearly dying, finds himself at a large, unusual mansion known as Ne no Kuni. A group that hunts clusters of human impurity, which they call "rats," views him as a source of these creatures and plans to eliminate him. He is rescued by Haishiro, a candidate for leadership within Ne no Kuni, who intervenes before Masayoshi can be discarded under a specific clan rule.
