Nekogahara

In a medieval Japan populated by cats, strays face harsh conditions, including cruelty from cats serving abusive masters and threats from catnip dealers. Stray life, however, is also marked by pride and independence. A nameless wandering samurai, marked by a bell indicating a former human connection, moves across the land. He defends the vulnerable and challenges those who abandon stray values, using unmatched sword skills. Though he remains largely unseen, his reputation has drawn numerous adversaries eager to claim his life. His past may eventually catch up, but for now, he continues his path, seeking freedom across his many lives.
