Neo Faust

A professor, having failed repeatedly to uncover the universe's meaning, attempts suicide but is stopped by a sorceress named Mephist. She offers him a deal: his soul in exchange for a life of fulfillment. The story is the last of three adaptations of the Faust legend by Osamu Tezuka, published in 1988.
