Shinji Ikari resides with his guardian, Ryoji Kaji, and attends NERV Academy, a prestigious private school. The school harbors hidden truths, which Shinji discovers when he encounters classmates Kaworu, Rei, and Asuka fighting humanoid enemies known as Angels.
