Jae-Rin is a college student who appears outgoing but is actually a reclusive fan of the historical drama "Hwaya," particularly obsessed with the male lead, Hwi. After being convinced by her sister to take a job as a TV extra, she ends up on the set of the show. Her awkward behavior disrupts filming, and she accidentally meets Ahn, the actor portraying Hwi, whom she dislikes despite her admiration for his character. A near-fatal incident causes them to be transported into the world of the drama. Now in a fictional setting made real, Jae-Rin is thrust into the role of Hwaya, a dragon maiden tasked with saving her kingdom.
