Takatou Mitsuki gains admission to Honmaru, a prestigious high school, but struggles to keep up with her academically superior peers. She is unexpectedly selected to represent her class in a school Survival game. Honmaru's system requires scholarship students to assist those with lower academic performance, pairing Mitsuki with Aoi Kousuke, a handsome student who agrees to help primarily for the financial incentive. Mitsuki feels a sense of familiarity with Aoi, though the reason remains unclear.
