A Japanese comic adaptation of Wagner's opera "Ring of the Nibelung" tells the story of a powerful ring forged from Rhine gold. According to legend, the ring grants the power to rule the world, but only to those who forsake love. Alberich, rejected by the Rhine fairies, renounces love and creates the ring, placing a curse on it. The comic is divided into four volumes.
