Kei is a young screenwriter who struggles to achieve success. One day, a young girl named Niko appears at her door. Niko is the daughter of Mifuyu Shibano, a well-known actress. Mifuyu sends Niko to live with Kei because Kei is the only person who knows about Niko’s existence. Kei previously worked for Mifuyu when she was less famous. Niko is quiet and reserved. To connect with her, Kei uses an exchange diary as a means of communication.
