A former top idol named Wakaouji Asagi is struggling with severe emotional distress and intends to end his life by jumping into a river. While on the verge of carrying out this act, he encounters a striking and enigmatic merman. Asagi agrees to let the merman stay with him, setting one condition: that the merman assist him in completing his suicide the following day.
