A young woman skilled in puppetry and monster hunting, Kagura encounters a vampire named Suzune by chance. Born into a troubled family and facing discrimination from fellow monster slayers, Kagura has had to create enemies to defend herself. During an attack, Suzune rescues her, and the two grow close. After enduring many hardships, Kagura decides to abandon her past. She and Suzune set out together in pursuit of their own happiness.
